Yellowstone may not be ready to ride off into the sunset yet.

Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser – who play married fan favorites Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler on the series – are currently in talks to reprise their lead roles in the sixth season of the Paramount Network hit.

This is different from the Yellowstone Continuation series, The Madisonwhich is in the works for Paramount+. There have also been rumors that Reilly and Hauser will be The Madisonbut that Yellowstone The series “Universe” will instead star Michelle Pfeiffer and Matthew Fox. The series is described as “a heartfelt study of grief and human connection about a New York family in the Madison River Valley of central Montana.”

Yellowstone Fans have been waiting for the second half of the fifth season, which is currently being produced in Montana, without lead actor Kevin Costner, who has retired from the show to focus on his horizon Film saga.
