There may be another chapter in the Yellowstone Saga.

Negotiations for a sixth season of the modern-day western are reportedly underway, nearly four months after the series was confirmed to conclude on Paramount Network with the second half of season five airing in November, according to Deadline and Puck, who first reported the news.

According to media reports, Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler) and Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton) are in talks to star in the new season of the Taylor Sheridan series following the exit of Kevin Costner, who confirmed in June that he would not return for the remainder of season 5 following rumors of his exit.

A representative for Paramount declined to comment when asked by PEOPLE.
