PARKERSBURG – The Worthington Women’s Golf Association reached the halfway point of its 75th season of continuous league play by presenting awards to the winners of the July matches at its August business meeting.

The winners of the 18 holes in July were: Carol Geletko, Mary Lopez, Katie Parsons, Marsha Jackson, Mary Ellen Eddy, Coleen Wittig, Mina Applebaum, Jan Kiger, Jeanne Chalfant, Gaye Fife, Mirtala Smith and Nancy Meredith.

The nine-hole winners were: Jan Wittman, Shirley Crutchfield, Andrea Brock, Sandy Perrine, Lori Butler, Donna Gaston, Linda Connolly, Barbara Payne, Ann Boyce, Ellen Knotts and Carlene Archer.

The WWGA League regular season ends on August 27, with the annual league scramble scheduled for September 3. The tournament to determine the 2024 WWGA League champion will be held on September 10 and 17, with September 24 as an alternate date.
