World of Warcraft’s 10th major expansion, The War Within, is coming later this month. Expansions to Blizzard’s iconic MMORPG have added hundreds of new storylines, characters, and locations to the world of Azeroth over WoW’s nearly two-decade run (and counting). Fans looking to spend even more time exploring Azeroth should check out the upcoming World of Warcraft: Exploring Azeroth Complete Collection. The hardcover box set includes all five books featuring popular WoW characters, as well as a world map and collectible pin. You can pre-order Exploring Azeroth Complete Collection on Amazon ahead of its November 5 release.
The box set would probably look great on a shelf next to the World of Warcraft: The War Within 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition, which is back in stock at the Blizzard Gear Store.
150$
The five books, the detailed world map and the collector’s pin are housed in an artistic slipcase that is a sight to behold.
Currently, Amazon is charging the full list price of $150, which is a big jump in price compared to buying five books individually. However, you won’t be charged until the box set ships, and books are often heavily discounted on Amazon before release. If you order now, you’ll automatically pay the lowest price Amazon offers until your pre-order ships.
In total, the World of Warcraft Exploring Azeroth series comprises 856 pages in five volumes:
Published by Blizzard, Exploring Azeroth debuted in 2020 with The Eastern Kingdoms and will conclude with Islands & Isles. Each book in the series stars key characters from the MMO, including Stormwind Spymaster Matthias Shaw, Horde Beastmaster Rexxar, Li Li Stormstout, and the Bronzebeard brothers. The fifth book, the only book in the series not already available as a standalone, follows First Arcanist Thalyssra and Regent Lord Lor’themar Theron.
As the title suggests, the books allow you to explore the vast lands of Azeroth through the eyes of popular WoW characters.
If you don’t want to wait until November 5th to check out the books, you can already buy four of the five books (we’ve linked the individual books above). The fifth – “Islands & Isles” – comes out on October 1st. Note that if you buy these books, you won’t get the premium slipcase or the redesigned versions of the individual books, but the content is the same.
To complete your Blizzard book collection, check out the discounted Diablo: Horadric Vault Complete Collection. Like the World of Warcraft book, this one compiles four existing books into one stunning hardcover volume. At 632 pages, it’s a great way to learn more about Tyrael, Deckard Cain, Adria, Lorath, and other familiar faces from this haunting world. A fifth entry in the series, Book of Prava, is set to launch alongside the fifth book in the Exploring Azeroth series. You can also pre-order The Art of Diablo: Volume 2 (Limited Edition), which launches on November 5.
