In September 2023, the development team The Astronauts, consisting of former People Can Fly members, who developed titles such as Painkillers And Bullet stormhas released the first Early Access version of its latest PC-exclusive FPS, Witchfireon the Epic Games Store. While the team has been busy updating the game with new content and improvements since launch, they have also announced that Witchfire will soon be available to a much larger PC audience.

In a new trailer for the game, The Astronants revealed that Witchfire will be added to Valve’s Steam PC games store before the end of 2024. According to the game’s Steam page, it will still be in Early Access when it releases for that service.

Witchfire is a dark, supernatural first-person shooter in which players take on the role of fighters equipped with weapons and spells who seek to destroy the evil Witch of the Black Sea and her many minions.

The game allows players to switch between firearms that can be upgraded with new ammo and abilities, as well as magic spells that allow the player to take out enemies. You can also loot and salvage any items from fallen enemies that you find.

If you can’t wait to play Witchfireit’s available now on the Epic Games Store, again in Early Access, and is currently priced at $31.99, $8 off the regular price of $39.99.

You will also get access to the game’s latest content update, the Wailing Tower. It adds a new map, Island of the Dammed, as well as new weapons, spells, and more. It also includes new music from Marcin Przybyłowicz and PT Adamczyk, among others, both of whom have worked with CD Projekt RED on Cyberpunk2077 and other titles.
