The official list of speakers and schedule for the third day of the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago were released early Wednesday evening.
The evening’s headliners are former President Bill Clinton and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, the candidate for Vice President.
Here is an overview of who we know is speaking so far and when:
When does the DNC start on Wednesday?
The “main program” is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a further delay from the originally planned start time of 6 p.m. Organizers announced Tuesday that the start times had been changed to “ensure we stay on schedule.”
Schedule and speakers for Day 3 of the DNC
The full list of speakers and schedule for Day 3 were announced shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday. In addition to speeches by former President Bill Clinton and Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz, the third night of the convention will also feature some of the party’s biggest names and likely future leaders.

All four plenary sessions of the Democratic National Convention will be streamed live on NBC Chicago’s website and mobile app, as well as in the player above.
The speeches will also be available on the NBC 5 Chicago News 24/7 streaming channel.

NBC Chicago will also broadcast prime-time coverage of the DNC, featuring the evening’s keynote speakers, interviews with prominent politicians and undecided voters, and expert analysis each day of the convention looking ahead to the November presidential election.
Primetime DNC coverage will air live from the United Center beginning at 8 p.m.
What is the theme of the third day of the congress?
The convention’s theme is “For the People, For Our Future” and the focus will be on moving the country forward and building on the work of the Biden administration.
According to the organizers, the theme for Wednesday is “A fight for our freedoms.”
“Tonight’s theme, ‘Fighting for Our Freedoms,’ will showcase how Vice President Harris has dedicated her entire career to fighting for America’s freedoms and why she chose Governor Walz as her running mate, including his record as a champion of the rights of America’s working families and a staunch defender of our fundamental freedoms,” Hornbrook said.

Tuesday – “A bold vision for America’s future”
Wednesday – “A fight for our freedoms”
Thursday – “For our future”
