“Who the hell did I take to Mexico?”: Liv and Sedona’s breakup

“Who the hell did I take to Mexico?”: Liv and Sedona’s breakup

“Who the hell did I take to Mexico?” refers to a video series by TikToker Olivia Stabile (Liv) in which she recounts her disastrous trip with her girlfriend Sedona. In the latest viral TikTok relationship drama series, Liv claims to have planned and paid for a trip to Mexico with basketball player Sedona Prince, only to end up single after a series of crazy events led to the breakup.

Stabile’s supporters are now calling on her team, the Horned Frogs of TCU (Texas Christian University), to kick Prince off the team, accusing her of abusive behavior that may have put her ex-girlfriend’s life in danger.

Who are Liv and Sedona?

“Liv” refers to TikTok user @livvvy.louu, who has over 565,000 followers. In her previous TikTok videos, she dances in different outfits to popular songs or shows off her tattoos and outfits. She and her friend are part of the LGBTQ+ community and Liv has a TikTok playlist simply called “gay.”

Sedona has her own social media accounts, but is best known as an NCAA player for the Horned Frogs (previously the Oregon Ducks and Texas Longhorns). As a teenager, she also played for the U.S. Youth National Team in 2015 and 2016, winning bronze each time.

In 2021, she helped expose the disparities in facility quality between the NCAA men’s and women’s teams, including available COVID-19 testing at the height of the pandemic.

What happened between Liv and Sedona in Mexico?

In her videos, Liv describes being scared from the start because Sedona tends to be “angry” in the mornings. The flight started off badly when Liv accidentally spilled beer on Sedona’s legs and her now ex-girlfriend punished her by sitting across the aisle for the rest of the flight.

Things got even worse when Sedona insisted they rent ATVs and drive through the dark jungle in the middle of the night. Liv claims Sedona pushed her off the vehicle and drove away when she suggested they come back in the morning. She claims the NCAA player eventually returned after Liv spent some time in the jungle nearly blind in a panic, but crashed the ATV and blamed it on her partner.

Liv further claimed that Sedona swerved recklessly while some locals were dragging her back to the hotel and that she was injured when she flew off the ATV. They both returned on foot after Sedona allegedly yelled at the locals to leave.

Liv said she tried to smooth things over the next day, but Sedona brushed her off and told her they had broken up. She became even more angry when a medical team treated Liv’s injuries first because they were more serious, and later began flirting heavily with other women in front of her ex.

“Who the hell did I take to Mexico?” – Aftermath

Liv booked an early flight back from Mexico, while Sedona deleted all photos of them together from her social media accounts. When her fans noticed that the two were apparently no longer together, they started asking questions.

Despite threats of lawsuits from Sedona, Liv created the series “Who the Hell Did I Take to Mexico,” which references the “Who the Hell Did I Marry” videos from February 2024. In about a day, the 10 TikTok videos were viewed a total of over 19 million times.

Some Liv fans responded by tagging the Horned Frogs and saying they should kick Sedona off the team, while many others called the “Who the Hell Did I Take to Mexico” series the best example of TikTok relationship drama since “Who the Hell Did I Marry?”
