While discussing the last year, he told the podcast that his journey to sobriety began with a conversation with his daughter Casie Colson Baker, who was just 11 or 12 at the time. She said to her father, “Dad, you know I can tell when you’re high?” The comment broke the Grammy-nominated artist’s heart and he told the podcast he realized he had caused the “ultimate disappointment.”
MGK shares a daughter with his ex, Emma Cannon, and recently celebrated the teenager’s 15th birthday.
