Other filming locations include Redmaids’ High School in Bristol, which serves as a stand-in for Little Kilton School, and Redcliffe Caves in Bristol, where A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder‘s secret disaster party was filmed.

No, Little Kilton is not a real village. However, author Holly Jackson has revealed that the fictional town is based on Great Missenden, a small village in the heart of the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire, best known as the town where children’s author Roald Dahl lived for 36 years until his death.
