When does the second season of “The Old Man” premiere on FX?

The Jeff Bridges series The old man is returning to FX soon.

FX has also released a new trailer for the upcoming second season.

The official synopsis for season 2 of The old man:

In Season 2 of FX’s The Old Man, former CIA agent Dan Chase (Jeff Bridges) and former FBI Deputy Director Harold Harper (John Lithgow) embark on their most important mission yet: to rescue Emily Chase (Alia Shawkat) after she is kidnapped by “Faraz Hamzad” (Navid Negahban), a powerful Afghan tribal leader. With all three men claiming her as their daughter, Emily faces an identity crisis with dire consequences. While Chase and Harper fight their way to Emily, Hamzad must make decisions that could endanger his family and the village he has faithfully led his entire life.

The series is based on the book of the same name by Thomas Perry. It was developed by Jonathan E. Steinberg and Robert Levine for Elevision.

Executive producers are Steinberg, Dan Shotz, Warren Littlefield, Levine, Bridges, David Schiff, Craig Silverstein and Jon Watts. The series is produced by 20th Television in association with The Littlefield Company.

When does season 2 of “The Old Man” start?

The first two episodes of the show’s second season will premiere on September 12 at 10 p.m. ET. The episodes will stream on Hulu the following day.
