Were there any surprises regarding the players who were released this week?
In a relatively surprising move, the Patriots this week released quarterback Bailey Zappe, who replaced former quarterback Mac Jones at the end of last season. Zappe’s numbers never really took off, so the move isn’t overly surprising.
