OREM– Senior striker at Utah Valley University Faith Webber continues to attract national attention as she was named to both the United Soccer Coaches Players to Watch List and the Top-Drawer Soccer Top-100 Players List, ranking at No. 36. These prestigious awards further solidify Webber’s position as one of the best players in college soccer.

Webber is one of only 33 strikers across the country on the United Soccer Coaches’ Players to Watch List.

She opened the 2024 regular season with a standout performance in her home state of Michigan, leading the Wolverines to a 2-0 record. Webber scored a brace, including the game-winning goal with 27 seconds left, in a thrilling 2-1 victory over Michigan in Ann Arbor on Aug. 15. She followed that performance by scoring another goal and adding an assist in UVU’s convincing 5-2 win at Detroit Mercy on Aug. 18. Her contributions were critical to Utah Valley’s perfect start to the season.

Webber, who made waves earlier this season by scoring the game-winning goal in UVU’s 2-0 win over No. 3 BYU, is coming off a record-setting junior year in which she ranked fifth in the nation with 16 goals. She also broke her own UVU record for most goals in a season and earned numerous honors, including First Team All-WAC and All-District. Webber was recently named WAC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and is on pace to break a record in her final season.

Webber’s ranking of 36th on the Top Drawer Soccer Top-100 list places her among the elite players in college soccer. She needs just seven more goals to match UVU’s all-time goals record and 27 points to match the career points record. Webber is well on her way to making a lasting impression on the program.

Webber will be back in action Thursday night when Utah Valley travels to Orlando to face UCF, a game that will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
