The star of “Wayne Brady: The Family Remix” introduced his daughter and son to each other for the first time
Wayne Brady enjoys his fatherly duties.
In episode 3 of his new Freeform reality show Wayne Brady: The Family Remixthe audience sees the Let’s make a deal The 52-year-old presenter is mastering fatherhood after becoming a father again to his son Val Henry.
The scene begins when Brady’s ex-girlfriend and Val’s mother, Tina, leaves the baby with his father and older half-sister, 21-year-old Maīle Masako Brady, while she runs errands.
Maile is Brady’s adult daughter with his ex-wife Mandie Taketa.
“Hey, how are you, Mr. Val?” Wayne says playfully to his little boy.
“I know I’m not your mother and I don’t have movies and I smell different, but you heard me. I mean, that’s it. Do you like the new place? You could come and stay here if you want,” he continues.
Maīle has previously made it clear that she is not a fan of Tina or Val. However, she hopes that her feelings for Tina “do not get in the way” of Wayne and Val’s relationship.

When Maīle meets Val and hugs her, she suppresses her feelings. The encounter causes the big sister to change her mind.
“It’s a great feeling to meet Val. He’s so sweet. He’s beautiful. Yes, I don’t feel the need to have a relationship with Tina in order to have a relationship with Dad or Val,” Maīle says during the episode.
Wayne admits he was nervous about meeting his blended family.
