Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Sultan Iskandar of Johor recently made headlines when he was gifted an incredibly detailed, life-sized (and working!) replica of Fred Flintstone’s car.

The cute vehicle – with a fully functional engine, fabric roof, wooden-look body and stone-look wheels – is a gift from the Crown Prince of Pahang, Tengku Abdullah ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah.

According to his official Facebook page, Sultan Ibrahim’s favorite cartoon is The Flintstoneswhile the clumsy Fred Flintstone is his favorite cartoon character.

Did you know that he loves the show so much that he built a huge house inspired by the cartoon? The Flintstone House in Mersing is a colourful, organically shaped building with curves reminiscent of the cartoon family’s home, but much more opulent. One thing is for sure – Fred Flintstone would probably shout “Yabba dabba doo!” if he ever had the chance to visit.
