The 2024 tournament, to be held August 14-25 in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, will feature a full series of games leading to the championship. Below is a detailed look at the schedule so you can follow all the action.

When is the Little League World Series?

The 2024 Little League World Series schedule begins on Wednesday, August 14, and culminates with the finals on August 25. Teams of players ages 10-12 from across the United States and other countries will compete.

Games will be played at Howard J. Lamade Stadium and Little League Volunteer Stadium, both located in South Williamsport.

Little League World Series Schedule

The opening rounds of the Little League World Series will take place from August 14-17. All teams will compete in a double elimination bracket, with the winning teams advancing to the winners bracket.

The elimination rounds will take place from August 18 to 23. The teams that have lost once will play in the losers’ group. A second loss will knock them out of the tournament.

By August 23, there will be one team remaining in each group (US and International) that has not been eliminated.

The U.S. and international championship games will take place on August 24th.

The remaining U.S. team and the international team will continue to move toward World Cup play this winter.

The losing teams play a consolation game later the same day.

The world championship game will be played on August 25th in a single elimination game to crown the Little League World Series champion.

Where does the Little League World Series take place?

Williamsport, Pennsylvania, is a small city in the north-central part of the state, best known as the host of the Little League World Series.

Williamsport, on the Susquehanna River, is located about 290 kilometers northwest of Philadelphia, 210 kilometers northeast of Harrisburg and about 320 kilometers west of New York City.

The 2024 Little League World Series will be broadcast live on ESPN and ABC. ESPN typically broadcasts most of the games, while ABC will broadcast some of the major matchups, including the U.S. Championship, International Championship, and World Championship games.

Fans can stream the games live on the ESPN app, and ESPN+ subscribers will also have access to live streams. Depending on the schedule, some games may also be available on the ABC app.

When does Council Rock play in the Little League World Series?

The 2024 Little League World Series begins on Wednesday, August 14, with a Caribbean vs. Mexico international match at 1 p.m., followed by the first U.S. game, with the West taking on the New England Region at 3 p.m. Later that evening, Midwest vs. Southeast will take place at 7 p.m., with Asia-Pacific vs. Canada taking on each other at 5 p.m.

Council Rock Newtown is the Mid-Atlantic team and will play Southwest Region team Needville Little League of Texas at 7 p.m. Thursday. Needville lost in the U.S. final of the 2023 Little League World Series.
