They first met in the jungle of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, but now the show’s host Chris Brown has admitted he saw the romance between Barry Hall and Lauren Brandt coming.
In conversation with Kyle and Jackie O on Wednesday, the Bondi Vet said he was not surprised to hear about the new couple, who confirmed their relationship earlier this month.
“We saw this because she was always walking through the jungle and to be honest she wasn’t wearing much, but every time she walked through the jungle Barry’s eyes would be fixed and light up,” Chris told the KIISFM Breakfast duo.
The reality show’s co-host, Julia Morris, was also not shocked when she learned about the couple’s affair and revealed that she had witnessed a moment between the two.
“She shaved his head once, it was very intimate,” she said.
“They were down by this little creek bed and she shaved his head and they chatted about life.”
Former AFL player Barry and Lauren finally made their relationship public after they were reportedly spotted kissing on the Gold Coast in October.
Since then, Lauren, who was in the children’s entertainment group Hi-5, has shared several photos of herself with Barry on Instagram.
Lauren had previously said The Daily Telegraph that she enjoyed Barry’s company shortly after they were seen kissing.
“We spent a lot of time together and enjoyed each other’s company,” she told the publication.
“Who knows what the future holds?”
Last week, Lauren shared a loved-up selfie with Barry and said she “couldn’t ask for anything more.”

Barry and Lauren made their first public appearance together earlier this month on Stakes Day during the Melbourne Spring Racing Festival.
