The surgery was performed by an experienced veterinary team led by senior veterinarian Dr Madhav and Dr Dhanush. After the surgery, the cat was given painkillers and antibiotics to aid her recovery. The cane cat has now been moved to a larger enclosure where her recovery will be closely monitored.
