When asked about his love life, Vedang Raina is not ready to reveal much about it. The actor, who is rumoured to be dating his The Archies co-star Khushi Kapoor, said in an interview with GQ that his career and professional life are more important to him than anything else. What Vedang said

During the interview, Vedang said, “My dating life is taking a back seat at the moment because I’m focused on my career. I’m clear about my priorities and I want to keep these two aspects of my life separate. I enjoy where I am and I want to achieve a lot more. It’s not that dating necessarily hinders me, but it can become an important part of your life. So I choose to stay conscious of that and focus on what’s most important.”

About the collaboration with Alia

The actor will next be seen in Vasan Bala’s ‘Jigra’, which stars Alia Bhatt. Talking about his experience with Alia, he said, “She is the exact opposite of me as an actor and honestly, it is so confusing! When you watch her, it is clear that she is brilliant and makes a big impression. I come with extensive preparation, set the mood with my playlist, sit in a corner and immerse myself in the scene. Then Alia comes and bam! She nails it on the first take and I am amazed. She slips into the role immediately, everything is sharp and precise. This is a testament to her professionalism after years in the industry. I have learnt so much from her – lessons that are difficult to quantify but are absorbed subconsciously. It is incredible how much you can learn from watching someone you admire.”

Vedang recently starred alongside Khushi for Gaurav Gupta’s latest collection Arunodaya at India Couture Week. Khushi and Vedang were also seen hanging out and dancing together at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities in July.
