Thirty Section 9 schools will compete in 11-man football this season, plus Delaware Valley in northeastern Pennsylvania.
The Section 9 season begins on Thursday, September 5, and the regular season ends in early November. The East state semifinals will be held on November 29 and 30 at Middletown High School, and the West semifinals will be held on the same days at Vestal High School. The finals will be held on December 6 and 7 at the JMA Dome in Syracuse.
Participating coaches have provided the names of the top four players (two on defense, two on offense) for each team. Here are the offensive players from the smaller schools in Classes B, C, and D. Next appear the defensive players from the small schools, followed by the large schools in Classes AA and A.
