Universal Orlando has released new information and official concept art for the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, which will be located behind the new Epic Universe theme park, both of which are scheduled to open next year in 2025.

The new 500-room hotel, designed by Universal Creative and co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co, is a “Mediterranean-inspired sanctuary rising above the lush gardens and scenic waters of Celestial Park at Epic Universe.” With a private theme park entrance and rooms with breathtaking theme park views, this hotel is unlike any other at Universal Orlando.


The Universal Helios Grand Hotel will be Universal Orlando’s 11th hotel, bringing the total number of guest rooms to 11,000. Named after the Greek sun god Helios, the hotel will be “adorned with beautiful details of celestial patterns, dazzling constellations and elegant, yet casual Mediterranean design elements.”

Below you’ll find a full breakdown of room sizes and amenities, as well as pictures of the floor plan.

Of the 500 rooms, 398 are standard rooms with two queen beds or one king bed, 26 are deluxe queen rooms, 5 are king suites, 14 are How to Train Your Dragon children’s suites, 11 are celestial suites, 3 are hospitality suites and 2 are presidential suites.


Highlights of the Helios Grand Hotel

Special admission to the Universal Epic Universe – Located off the lobby is the hotel’s private entrance to Epic Universe – an unparalleled amenity for Universal Helios Grand Hotel guests, offering direct, convenient access to and from the theme park (valid theme park admission ticket required).

Resort-style pool – The zero-entry pool oasis is the ultimate place to rest and relax – complete with underwater speakers, pool cabanas for rent, a hot tub, poolside movies, recreational activities and more.

Bar Helios – A sparkling and stylish rooftop lounge at Universal Helios Grand Hotel, Bar Helios offers a delicious menu of creative tapas and familiar classics, carefully handcrafted specialty cocktails, and unparalleled 360-degree views of Epic Universe and beyond, making it the perfect place for guests to unwind in the evening after a busy day in the parks.

Aurora Market – a modern cafe and market offering freshly roasted coffee, delicious takeaway food and tempting snacks and desserts from morning to night.

Lotus Lagoon – a poolside bar and grill where guests can cool off with refreshing cocktails or soft drinks and enjoy casual fare such as burgers, salads, sandwiches and more.
