WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Last month, the Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas (ATAT) inducted 45 teachers into its Hall of Fame, including Clay County teachers Tony Dunkerley and Shane Crafton.

The two new additions have successful careers spanning over 30 years. Dunkerley began his career in 1984, while Crafton began teaching in 1990. The two worked as teaching partners at Henrietta ISD for 20 years before retiring in 2017 and 2021.

According to the association, ATAT Hall of Fame inductees demonstrate exemplary achievement through their careers, achievements and contributions. They are well-rounded professionals who have demonstrated excellence through FFA activities and community involvement and work to provide students with opportunities for leadership, personal growth and professional success.

“Without educators like Mr. Dunkerley and Mr. Crafton, ATAT and Texas FFA would not be what they are today. Our agricultural teachers spend countless hours on professional development to better serve our students and prepare them for their future. We thank him for his years of service and recognize his dedication with this induction into the Hall of Fame.”
