Tim Walz, Bill Clinton, Pete Buttigieg and Nancy Pelosi among the speakers on the third day of the DNC

Tim Walz will make his big appearance in Chicago on Wednesday evening. The governor of Minnesota will accept the Democratic Party’s nomination for vice president.

His speech will follow two days of celebrations at the Democratic National Convention, including Remarks by former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama Tuesday night, warning against complacency in this election.

Here are some highlights to watch on Wednesday night:

  • Senator Cory Booker from New Jersey, former presidential candidate
  • Senator Amy Klobuchar from Minnesota, who has a close relationship with Walz
  • Former Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan, one of many Republicans spoke out in support of Harris all week
  • Former Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi of California, which gave the impetus to replacing President Biden with Vice President Harris on the ballot
  • Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigiegwho also ran for president in 2020 and was considered as Harris’ vice presidential candidate
  • Former President Bill Clinton. Hillary Clinton spoke on Monday about past and future efforts to break the glass ceiling. The former president is a seasoned convention speaker, and his criticism of Republican economic policies in 2012 was one of his finest performances.

The main DNC program is expected to run from approximately 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. CT.

Thursday is the last evening of the party convention, which culminates in Harris accepting the presidential nomination.
