However, some big Nintendo titles are currently discounted – including big discounts on several Zelda games, including Tears of the Kingdom, and smaller discounts on recent releases like Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Aside from games, the Switch Pro Controller is discounted to just $58 (was $70) and the Nintendo Switch Lite: Animal Crossing Bundle is $159 (was $200), so this is a great time to pick up some new gear for your gaming room.
Go to Walmart and you will find Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD available for $51 (previously $60). That may not seem like much, but this is actually one of the lowest prices we’ve seen all year. With updated graphics, improved controls, and various quality of life improvements, this is the ideal way to experience the adventure. Be sure to give it a try if you missed the original on Nintendo 3DS.
Other great offers are Paper Mario: The Gate to Legend for $52 (previously $60), Splatoon3 for $40 (previously $60) and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for $40 (was $48). Splatoon 3 is the best option if you’re looking for online multiplayer, as the competitive scene is still incredibly active and you get plenty of unlockable content to work towards. You also can’t go wrong with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe— which is also on sale at Walmart for $40 (was $60).
If you haven’t played Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomyou can add it to your collection for just $50 (was $70). Arguably the best Nintendo Switch game, Tears of the Kingdom is a remarkable adventure with brilliant puzzles, a truly unique physics system, and a fascinating open world that goes beyond the already expansive version of Hyrule from its predecessor. Speaking of the game that laid the foundation for the open world of Zelda, you can grab Breath of the Wild for $40 (previously $60).
