A weekend of beautiful weather continued on Saturday with the third day of the Iowa State Fair.
Compared to 2023, which had the second highest number of visitors, the number of visitors this year has already increased.

The third day of the Iowa State Fair saw 128,732 visitors on Saturday, breaking the previous single-day attendance record. The new record surpasses the all-time single-day attendance record set on the second Saturday of the 2022 State Fair with 128,298 visitors. This number also surpasses the previous first Saturday record of 127,227 visitors set in 1991.
How will attendance at the Iowa State Fair in 2024 compare to 2023?
In 2023, 118,286 visitors attended the third day of the trade fair. That is 10,446 more than on the second day in 2024.
