Although the Potterverse has been a global phenomenon for a few decades, it’s entirely possible that there are plenty of people out there who still can’t tell a Bludger from a Golden Snitch. That’s an important distinction, especially with the digital release of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions just a few weeks away on most platforms (September 3, to be exact).
And that’s presumably why Warner Bros. Games released a trailer today explaining the intricacies of the wizarding world’s most popular game. As you can see below, Quidditch Champions gives players all the tools they need to live out their Quidditch dreams, whether they want to play as Ron Weasley (or as the Boy Who Lived) himself or create their own characters with a solid-looking character creation system.

Warner Bros. Games today released the official “Magic is in the Air” trailer for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, ahead of the release of the Digital Standard and Deluxe Editions of the game for Xbox, PC (Steam and Epic) and PlayStation on September 3, 2024.
In this latest trailer, fans learn more about the fast-paced wizarding sport that first captivated audiences in the Harry Potter books and films. In Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, players can customise their own avatar or take on the role of well-known characters from the wizarding world, including Harry Potter, the Weasley twins or Sebastian Sallow, to name a few, as they soar through the skies and represent the pride of their house on the pitch.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be available on September 3, 2024 for Standard and Deluxe digital editions on Xbox, PC (Steam and Epic), and PlayStation. The physical Deluxe edition will be available on November 8, 2024 for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch™ system edition will be released this holiday season. Players can check with their preferred retailers to see if the physical Deluxe editions are available to pre-order. Additionally, the Standard Edition of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions** will be available to all PlayStation®Plus members at no additional cost from September 3 to 30, 2024. The Firebolt Supreme Broom Skin will also be available as a redeemable pack for PlayStation®Plus members during this time.
