Special Assignments are timed, and players may only have a few days to complete them. However, if one disappears, another is likely to appear almost immediately.

Naturally, The caches of experienced adventurers have their limits. Players can repeat the Special Assignment quests as many times as they want, but will only receive gear the first two times they are completed. Each subsequent completion will reward them with Restored Treasure Chest Keys. These can be used to open rich treasure chests that can contain high-quality gear (plus Radiant Echoes, bonus currencies, or curios), so these can be worthwhile missions even if players have already filled up their weekly treasure chests for seasoned adventurers.
