The veterans breakfast on Saturday at the Oktoberfest grounds opens the last day of the Big River Rally

A celebration honoring the veterans with a colorful presentation, breakfast, programs and services will be held Saturday at the southern Oktoberfest grounds, marking the final day of the Big River Rally.

The public is invited to begin the day at 7 a.m. with the American Legion Riders’ color presentation, followed by breakfast. There will also be information about veterans services and programs for former and current soldiers and their families.

The breakfast is only $10, with all proceeds donated to veterans programs and services throughout the Coulee region.

Heyer Heating & Air Conditioning sponsored the Big River Rally Veterans Breakfast.

The Big River Rally begins Friday with a ride along the Mississippi River, followed by a Buckcherry concert. Festivities on Saturday after the veterans breakfast include another ride through the Coulee region with Bill Michaels of WKTY and Jesse James Dupree of Jackyl.

There will also be several biker stunt shows, a motorcycle show, stalls and, to top it all off, a Jackyl concert.
