– The unusual luxury goods of the All-Stars

The summer jungle camp is ready to start: “I’m a Star – Showdown of the Jungle Legends” starts on August 15th on RTL+ (also available on RTL from August 16th). The all-star season with 13 former candidates was recorded without live audience voting, which will change the camp dynamics and the jungle tests.

As RTL.de reports, there are no fixed rules that otherwise apply in the camp. However, one rule has made it into the jungle of legends: the celebrities are allowed to take two luxury items with them to South Africa. The stars focus on cosmetics – one camper seems to be happy with her selection.

Care and comfort take priority

According to RTL.de, reality star Gigi Birofio (25) is taking tanning spray and hair wax, which are probably among the most unusual luxury items in South Africa. Actor David Ortega (38), who has Spanish roots, is taking a German and a Spanish flag with him. DJ Giulia Siegel (49) is travelling with bronzer and baby powder. Former “Bachelor” candidate Georgina Fleur (34) cannot live without eyelash serum and red lipstick, and reality queen Kader Loth (51) is not completely without make-up, with eyeliner and concealer.

Former “GNTM” candidate Sarah Knappik (37), presenter Mola Adebisi (51) and Mallorca emigrant Daniela Büchner (46) seem to have learned from their first jungle trip and are opting for comfort and peace with pillows and earplugs. Dating show veteran Elena Miras (32) also wants comfort with pillows and is spotted with one of her daughter’s cuddly toys. Former “GZSZ” actor Eric Stehfest (35) has his daughter’s pillow and his wife’s heart necklace with him as a reminder of home.

Former “Big Brother” candidate Hanka Rackwitz (55) relies on eyeliner and cushions. Former footballer Thorsten Legat (55) makes do with lip balm for his sensitive lips and actor Winfried Glatzeder (79) even foregoes a luxury item on his “path of self-discovery”.

I’m not sure if the new rules will affect the camper who brought a stuffed animal as a comforter. Even though there is no live audience vote, it’s uncertain how celebrity luxury items will affect the dynamic of camp.
