The spin-off of Maxis’ popular The Sims Game, MySimsis reportedly coming out for Nintendo Switch. MySims was released on Wii and Nintendo DS in 2007 and was re-released for Microsoft Windows and mobile phones in 2008.
ResetEra user –R discovered online offers for a Nintendo Switch version of MySims appears on the websites of European retailers Virtex and World of Games. The version is scheduled to be released on November 19, 2024, according to both websites. Virtex’s price for the Switch version of the game is €49.99 and the retailer includes MySims‘ Original cover artwork as product image. The price of World of Games is €49.90. However, EA has not made an official announcement about if and when the game will be released on the hybrid console, so readers are advised to take the report with a grain of salt.

Using creative building and design elements, players take on the new management role to improve the town and attract new residents, for whom houses must then be built. In addition to creating a custom Mii-like character, players can modify their houses and build furniture and appliances using a selection of building blocks. MySims produced five sequels between 2008 and 2010 – MySims Kingdom, MySims Party, MySims Racing, MySims Agents and MySims SkyHeroes.
A Sims film adaptation is in the works
A film adaptation of The Sims is currently in the works. The film is being produced by Margot Robbie’s production company LuckyChap, following the immense success they had with last year’s summer blockbuster. Barbie. Kate Herron, who directed the first season of Lokiwill direct from a screenplay she will co-write with Briony Redman. Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee and Miri Yoon will produce alongside Robbie and EA, who will also be creatively involved.
