A new Civilization game means a new Civilization storyteller, and for the upcoming Civilization 7 The task will fall to Gwendoline Christie, who is best known for her portrayal of Brienne of Tarth in the HBO series “Game of Thrones”.
Christie joins a long line of famous Civilization narrators with distinctive voices, a tradition that began in 2005 with Leonard Nimoy in Civilization 4:

And now Christie is taking on the role. She will be the first woman to narrate a Civilization game, and the new Narrator Reveal Trailer leaves no doubt that she’s an excellent choice.
Civ fans on Reddit also seem to be very happy with it, and not just out of Game of Thrones nostalgia – although of course we will not avoid that complete. This is the Internet, after all.
