It will enable many new features that can be accessed through the new Control Center gallery. iOS 18 could help enable features like Calculator, Stopwatch, Alarm, Home, Timer, Dark Mode, Scan Code, Airplane Mode, Cellular Data, Personal Hotspot, Quick Note, Remote Control, Wallet, Tap to Cash, and Ping My Watch through the action button.

To perform the action assigned to the Action button, press and hold it. For many features, the Action button can be used to turn a setting on or off. For example, if the selected action is Silent mode, you can press and hold the Action button to put iPhone into Silent mode. Pressing and holding the Action button again turns Silent mode off.
