The high school’s orange field is impressive. Browns fans’ wish list?

The high school’s orange field is impressive. Browns fans’ wish list?

While we all (okay, maybe just some of us) wait for the Cleveland Browns to take on the Seattle Seahawks at 10 p.m. Saturday night, an interesting sight popped up on social media. With high school football back on the field this week, many traditions are returning to people’s lives.

However, this is not traditional in any way:

As our friend Jackson McCurry jokedDon’t give Jimmy Haslam any ideas for his new stadium in Brook Park.

Given the trend toward more entertainment and less tradition, it wouldn’t be surprising if the NFL allowed different colored fields in the future. It may be a long way off, but anything that makes money seems to be an option.

The home team, wearing the orange jersey and pants combination, may have the advantage in this game. Paris High School in Kentucky has built a new $1.75 million field that was inaugurated Friday night. Paris beat Frankfort 27-6 in the season opener.

We know Browns fans are more traditional, but what would you think if the team played on an orange field like this one?
