We all know the misunderstandings around well-known song lyrics. In fact, there are many website posts dedicated to this topic, but here’s one you may not have thought of and may have a hard time hearing otherwise.

Halie Welchbetter known as the “Hawk Tuah” girl for her viral, onomatopoeic depiction of an oral sex practice, Bill Maher on his Club Random Podcast and the topic was music.

While the 22-year-old said she prefers “old rap” to newer stuff, she has certainly heard “older” rappers like Tupac And Jay Zalthough she admits that she “doesn’t listen to them that often.”

Except for this one song by Hova, she says, in which she sings: “‘Concrete Jungle-Wet Dream-Tomato’, you know, about New York.” The lyrics are “Concrete Jungle Where Dreams Are Made Of,” sung by Alicia Keys in the hit.

“‘Wet dream tomato’?” asked Maher.

Her rendition may be her second viral moment. A Facebook user cut it out and mixed it in with the real song. “Now I can’t forget it,” the user said, using the crying laughing emoji.

Maher said he wanted to be a mentor to Welch, helping her make the most of her “chip” – her “sudden” fame – to move beyond her “origin story.”

He compared it with the Kardashianwho have become household names “since a sex video.”

“That’s why it’s important to plan the next step,” Maher warned. “America is getting tired of this shit quickly.”
