My order: This new restaurant, located at the site of the former Jungle Jim’s Cafe, serves breakfast and lunch daily. I had the Fairgrounds Favorite Omelet ($11.79), a three-egg omelet filled with ham, bacon, sausage, green peppers, onions and cheddar cheese. It came with a choice of potatoes or fruit and toast or pancakes. The omelet was huge, if a little overcooked. I liked the fluffy buttermilk pancakes best. My friend had a Chipotle Burger ($10.99), a beef patty topped with jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. It came with fries and a cup of soup. Like my omelet, the portion size was generous.

We particularly liked this: Traditionally, burgers and sandwiches in restaurants are served with fries or other potatoes. Here, they also come with a cup of homemade soup, which is a nice touch. In addition, the menu offers many options, including Benedicts, skillets, waffles, French toast, horseshoes, salads and other sandwiches.

I didn’t like this: None

What would I order next time? The Classic Crêpes ($8.29) include three crêpes with strawberries, blueberries, cherries or bananas.
