However, the actor is not exactly a stuntman. But Radcliffe did not seem unimpressed by his physical weakness and humorously defended his status as one of the most popular British actors.
Daniel Radcliffe’s hilarious reaction to a failed stunt
In addition to his iconic role as Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe has also had a successful career in Hollywood. Despite his impressive resume, however, the actor was hilariously humble when he acknowledged that there were still things that were beyond his expertise.
In a 2013 mockumentary with YouTube channel Bad Teeth, the actor explained how to be Daniel Radcliffe. The short mockumentary included several sections on this, including fan appreciation, staying grounded, and dealing with anger.
To keep up with the latter two, The Lost City Star introduced Jake, who he hired to keep fame from going to his head, and the unfolding narrative revealed Jake’s role in keeping the actor grounded.
As Jake began to demonstrate his complex physical movements, Radcliffe began to boast about his status as an actor with mock arrogance. He said:
I’ve performed naked on a Broadway stage, I’ve kissed Emma Watson, I’m the most famous person you’ve ever been close to.
This leads into the next section, which is about letting go of anger, and Radcliffe’s frustration was palpable when Jake pointed out that, despite all his success, the actor still couldn’t do the splits or a headstand.

While Jake continued to demonstrate his flexibility with a split and a headstand, Daniel Radcliffe, in a playful tirade, assured both Jake and himself that it didn’t bother him that he couldn’t perform these stunts.
I was 11 years old when I starred in the most phenomenally successful film series of all time. I have some of the greatest British actors on my speed dial. I have Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, Danny Dyer.
However, Jake responded modestly to his rant and asked him if he could do a handstand. The interaction seemed to serve its purpose as Radcliffe was quite humble and polite at the end. He then prepared to carry on with his day, saying:
And now I’m ready to go. Now I just need to learn my lines, go through several elaborate costume fittings, do makeup and hair, talk to the producers a few times, then talk to my agents several times, and then we’ll be ready.
This was not the only time the actor humorously talked about his Harry Potter Fame in light-hearted discussions.
Despite these humorous moments, he has also said that global recognition and fame led to periods of insecurity. Since then, however, Radcliffe has found true happiness and fulfillment through his work as an actor.
