Angelina Jolie once hired a hitman to take her life.

The 49-year-old Hollywood star actress once spoke about a moment in her life when she considered paying someone a certain amount of money to kill her, and revealed the surprising question he asked her following her request.

Angelina stated in 2001 that it would be easier for her family to cope with her death if they felt she had been murdered rather than taking her own life.

Speaking to IMDb, she revealed: “This is going to sound crazy, but there was a time when I wanted to hire someone to kill me.”

A few years later, in 2003, Girl interrupted Star told exactly how she found the hitman.

Speaking to The Face, she said: “In New York, they’re not that hard to find. As crazy as it sounds, I think a lot of people think about suicide at a young age.

“I was very aware that many people around me, including my mother, would feel that I had not given or done enough if I had taken my own life.”

Angelina added: “My solution was that if someone else had taken my life – perhaps in a ‘robbery’ – then it would be murder and no one would feel like they had abandoned me.”

Angelina went into the details a little more, recalling that she had made a plan to withdraw the money from her account in small installments to ensure that a large sum was not withdrawn at once to pay the hitman.

Obviously, it didn’t end up happening, but the reason may surprise you.

According to the actress, the hitman asked Angelina a question that indirectly saved her life.

“He was a pretty decent person and asked if I could think about it and call him again in two months,” she added.

“Something changed in my life and I thought I could hold on.”

Angelina starred in a number of other huge hits and was involved in numerous humanitarian projects while raising six children.

However, the actress is currently embroiled in a dirty legal battle with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, whom she accuses of trying to “rip her off”.
