Stree 2 – Box Office Day 10: Amar K, the sequel to the 2018 horror comedy Stree, has been collecting good box office collections since its release.
Stree 2 Box Office Day 10: Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2, the sequel to his 2018 horror comedy Stree, is still making good money at the box office 10 days after its release. It stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. According to Sacnilk.com, the film has collected an estimated ₹338.77 Crore nett so far in India. Box office revenue of Stree 2
The website says that the film has ₹8.5 crore during the paid premieres and ₹51.8 crore on its opening day on August 15. In the following week, it made ₹31.4 crores, ₹43.85 crore and ₹55.9 crore on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There was a decline in the collections on Monday, but still ₹38.1 crore, which ₹25.8 crores, ₹19.5 crore and ₹16.8 crore on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. In the first week, the film’s earnings were ₹291.65 crore net in India.
Stree 2 posted a surprise 4.17% rise in revenue on its second Friday. ₹17.5 crore. On its second Saturday, the film is estimated to have ₹29.62 crore, which is a total of ten days of approx. ₹338.77 crore net in India.
Aparshakti on Ayushmann joining the franchise
Aparshakti recently spoke to PTI about his elder brother, actor Ayushmann Khurrana, joining Maddock Films’ horror-comedy franchise, previously titled Vampires of Vijay Nagar, along with Thama. He told them, “We have been waiting for so long to work together on something good and what can be better than a world that has been created?”
Aparshakti also stated that the brothers had not asked the producers to cast them together, but he was approached for the new film after they wrapped up Stree 2. He said, “We did not go to the producers and ask them to cast us together in a film… We had finished shooting ‘Stree 2’ and this new film came to him after that. So all these characters will come together and if that happens, will we be shown as brothers or not, what will happen, there are a lot of questions.”
