Uncover a dark secret in Stratagem Lost

Hybrid Fiction Games has officially announced its debut title Stratagem Lost for PC. It’s a single-player turn-based strategy RPG with visual novel elements and a punk fantasy aesthetic. Additionally, the studio plans to release a demo on Steam on October 14, so keep an eye out for that.

Stratagem Lost is a single-player indie game currently in development for PC. In this story, a group of conscripted soldiers stumble upon a chilling secret while battling terrorists and supernatural forces. Gameplay revolves around building a unique team of characters and challenges players to make difficult decisions both on and off the battlefield.

The game features vibrant, expressionistic illustrations both during cutscenes and in combat. Battles unfold with a dynamic flair, as if they were scenes straight out of a comic book. Even the characters strike daring poses, each showcasing their unique personality and individuality.

Between battles, players are given “off-time segments” where they can chat with their allies. Each character has their own unique story that reveals more about themselves and the game world. New skills can also be unlocked by talking to them! These segments are important because they link your combat tools to what you learn about your team.

The game features voice acting from industry professionals such as Amanda Hufford (The Amazing Digital Circus, Genshin Impact), Joshua Waters (Fire Emblem Heroes, Unicorn Overlord), and Allanah Fitzgerald (Murder Drones). Dante Gofar, known for AD: Trance and UNBEATABLE (White Label), composed the hard rock soundtrack that drives the game’s intense groove.
