Stacy London and Clinton Kelly reunite for Prime’s “Wear Whatever the F You Want”

After the long-running feud between two of television’s most impressive fashion experts, the former What not to wear The collaboration between their co-stars Stacy London and Clinton Kelly came to an end, and it was only a matter of time before they joined forces again, and now the time has come.

Amazon announced that the duo will star and executive produce an 8-part streaming series called Wear whatever you want The show is described as “a new style transformation show that gives people the confidence and style to wear whatever they want. Over the course of a few days, each customer will be empowered to live out their fashion fantasy and find the truth of their style on the journey of a lifetime.”

That doesn’t sound to far from what they did before What not to wear. In the show, which ran on TLC from 2003 to 2013, the duo preyed on unsuspecting fashion victims who had been turned into style experts by friends or family members, and taught them what styles suited them… and how to shop within that taste profile themselves.

However, the screen duo themselves explained the difference between then and now. In a joint statement from London and Clinton, they said of the news of the new show: “The world has changed since the broadcast of What not to wearand thankfully, we do. These days, we have no interest in telling people what to do based on society’s norms – because there are no norms anymore! However, style is still an important form of communication, and we’re excited to show new clients how to align their personal messages with their life goals. It’s time to celebrate individual style, not dictate it.”

The news comes nearly a year after the two publicly ended their decades-long feud.

In September 2023 they performed together Today with Hoda & Jenna and explained why they stopped getting along towards the end of the series (and what brought them back together).

“As you get a little older – and we actually grew up together on TV – there are a lot of things we were proud of that I don’t think either of us were willing to admit,” London said.

“After seeing the same clickbait story over and over again on Instagram about how much we hated each other, I was like, ‘I can’t take this anymore.’ Because we don’t really hate each other. In fact, we love each other,” Kelly added.
