It is hard to believe that summer is almost over and with it another season of The Bachelorette. But Jenn Tran’s journey ends with a three-hour finale on September 3, and that won’t be easy to predict.

Here is a summary of The Bachelorette Spoilers for the finale, including whether Jenn gets engaged at the end of season 21. Warning, spoilers!

Jenn and her frontrunners

To recap, Jenn’s Fantasy Suites revealed that she doesn’t quite see eye to eye with her recent suitors. While Devin Strader told Jenn he loved her, she held back. “I have no doubt that he’s going to be a great partner in the end and that he’s really there for me,” she said in a confessional. “But the question is, will I make it with Devin? And can I afford to do this with him?”

However, with fellow favorite Marcus Shoberg, Jenn found herself on the other side of the conversation, explaining that she has been in love with Marcus for some time, even though he said he wasn’t ready yet.

The incongruous connections make Jenn’s finale quite a mystery. In the latest teaser, Jenn hints at a change in her heart. “Going into the story today, I thought I knew which way it was going,” she says in a voiceover. “And this morning I woke up with a completely different perspective on it.”

Jenn also meets with her family, and a loved one mentions her past of dating “emotionally unavailable” people and asks, “How long are you willing to wait?”

Jenn seems to agree, stating that “no one should wait to be loved by someone.”

A possible way forward

In the preview, host Jesse Palmer also reiterates his claim that this season has an unexpected ending. “No Bachelorette has ever ended her journey like this,” he says.

Many fans have theorized that in her first finale of this kind, Jenn may propose to the person who receives the final rose, rather than the other way around.

But is Jenn actually engaged? According to Reality Steve, she is reportedly engaged to Devin in Hawaii. At the same time, the Bachelor Nation blogger and podcaster admitted that he had been engaged for the last Bachelor season, in which it was falsely reported that Joey Graziadei was engaged to Daisy Kent and not to Kelsey Anderson, the actual final recipient of the rose.

So if you want to take this spoiler with a grain of salt, that’s understandable.

Meanwhile, Jenn said she was “very happy” with how her season went.

“It’s definitely an ending that I didn’t see coming. My family won’t see it coming, and I don’t think the audience will see it coming either,” she said recently shine. “I’m excited to see how everything develops.”
