Shiba Inu Leads Trolls Dogecoin, Upcoming Game

Shiba Inu Leads Trolls Dogecoin, Upcoming Game

Shytoshi Kusama, the enigmatic leader of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, makes a trolling comment in response to the news that Dogecoin is developing a game.

In an exciting development, Jordan Jefferson, CEO and co-founder of popular crypto wallet My Doge, recently announced that Dogecoin is preparing to enter the gaming industry.

“Gaming on Dogecoin is coming”, Jefferson noted this in a recent tweet.

The famous software developer has attached a short video that looks like a clip from the game. In the video, three dogs bow down to a warrior-like dog statue.

Shiba Inu leader reacts

As expected, the announcement sparked reactions from crypto enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the game’s release. However, the head of the Shiba Inu ecosystem made a subtle comment about the upcoming project, saying, “**Laughs in Shiba Eternity**.”

This comment suggests that Dogecoin is just starting to develop a game, but Shiba Inu has already made significant progress with its gaming project called Shiba Eternity. Furthermore, it suggests that Shiba Inu’s efforts in the gaming space are far ahead of Dogecoin’s.

Shiba Inu Gaming Progress

It is worth noting that Shiba Inu officially entered the gaming industry in October 2022. At that time, the ecosystem team launched the mobile version of Shiba Eternity, which received widespread acceptance.

Since its debut, the team has made significant improvements to the game, including efforts to migrate it to Shibarium. The blockchain version of Shiba Eternity is currently in closed beta testing and will be available to the public soon.

After successful testing and fixing all glitches, the game will launch on the Shibarium mainnet and allow players to earn rewards by playing.

Endless rivalry

Meanwhile, Kusama’s trolling response to the upcoming Dogecoin game may not come as a surprise to crypto enthusiasts due to the rivalry between the projects. Investors have compared the projects on various metrics ranging from utility to market dominance.

Dogecoin was launched in December 2013 and is considered the largest memecoin with a market cap of $15.15 billion. On the other hand, Shiba Inu, which was launched in August 2020, is currently the second largest memecoin with a market cap of $8.26 billion.

Kusama’s comment on the upcoming Dogecoin game clearly shows that the rivalry between the projects is unlikely to end anytime soon.
