Shakur Stevenson has no doubts who will win Gervonta Davis against Devin Haney after defeating both in sparring

Shakur Stevenson, Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney are all part of an elite group of young American fighters in the same weight classes that fans would love to see fight each other.

Both men benefited from Devin Haney moving up a division and giving up his undisputed status at lightweight to immediately wrest the WBC super lightweight belt from Regis Prograis. Stevenson won the vacant 135 version of that belt against Edwin De Los Santos and Davis was upgraded from regular WBA champion to the sanctioning body’s only champion in the division.

Although Haney will not go back down to 130, “Tank” Davis has already ventured up to 140 once, so the duel still has potential.

When asked what would happen if his two rivals actually faced off, Stevenson – who has sparred with both men – told Mics that the hard-hitting Baltimore native would win hands down.

“Tank. Tank by knockout. He’s going to knock his ass out. He’s going to put him to sleep. He got hurt by Linares.”

In his last appearance, Haney was knocked down three times by Ryan Garcia, despite Garcia weighing in at overweight and later testing positive for a banned substance. “Tank” made light work of the same man last year, albeit with a catch weight of 136 pounds and a 10-pound rehydration clause.

Haney, whose loss to Garcia was overturned to a no contest, is currently the WBC 140 champion on hiatus and is in talks to face IBF champion Liam Paro later in the year.

Tank is scheduled to return this November, with further details to be announced. Stevenson will face Joe Cordina on October 12.
