Serena Williams' Palm Beach villa has its own karaoke suite

Serena Williams’ life looks a little different now that she has retired from Grand Slam tennis, but that doesn’t mean it has become quieter.

The seven-time Wimbledon champion, widely regarded as one of the most successful tennis players of all time, is enjoying the joys of motherhood with her husband Alexis Ohanian in their stunning mansion in Palm Beach, north of Miami.

The couple have two daughters, Olympia (4) and Adira (1), and their stunning property is the perfect place to raise their young family.

While the tennis player now shares her lavish abode with her husband, she previously revealed that he had no input in the design of her minimalist home, as she instead turned to her sister Venus’s interior design firm V Starr to help her design her dream home.

“We had just met,” said Serena Architecture Digest by Alexis. “And I didn’t want to say, ‘Hey, let’s do this together.’ That would have been really weird for him.” Serena added: “I was moving away from Venus for the first time in my life and wanted the whole thing to be a really meaningful thing.”

Her modern home features a hidden karaoke suite, a trophy room, an infinity pool and a wine cellar “the size of a small New York apartment,” but surprisingly there is no tennis court as she explained she wanted to “separate home and work.”

Serena Williams’ kitchen

The kitchen has white walls, black cabinets, and a white island with a modern, square dining table attached to the back. Two chairs were placed in front of the table, and the space was completed with gold accents, including the lamps, the tiles on the kitchen backsplash, and the trim on the huge refrigerator.

The flooring continues from their kitchen into the dining room, which has a table with enough seating for eight guests. The room is similarly minimalist, with white walls and cream curtains—but the main feature is the gold, black, brown, and gray pendant lights that hang from the ceiling.

Serena has her very own media room hidden behind a bookshelf! The secret door was seen in the background of the video above, next to modern chair sculptures.

Inside, there’s a stage with musical instruments, a bar, plush velvet seats, and a bold neon sign that reads “Serenade” – perfect for a family karaoke night.

Serena also shared a glimpse into her art gallery, which used to be the formal living room but now features a bench to admire the eye-catching artwork, a white and crisp piano, and an electric fireplace.

In a video with ADVERTISEMENTshe pointed to her favorite pieces of art, including one she had designed herself. “I make art,” she said. “I paint and I’m really artistic.”

Olympia can feel like a real princess thanks to her incredible pink, custom-designed castle bed with built-in slide and chandelier.

Serena said, “She goes down the slide every night and we think, ‘Man, we shouldn’t have done that because now she just wants to slide at bedtime.'”

She also seems to have a play area with colorful storage units full of toys.

Serena recently shared a video montage on YouTube showing her second daughter’s majestic nursery.

The focal point is an impressive crown that sits above the crib.

The wall behind is adorned with dark red plush, complemented by similar curtains that form a canopy over the crib. Exuding elegance and comfort, the room is accented by a wine-colored chest, a majestic stuffed giraffe, and even a spacious walk-in closet.
