Former middleweight champion Sean Strickland has once again reignited his hatred for rapper and singer Machine Gun Kelly. After Kelly went on a tirade about Tarzan’s past comments about him on the Impaulsive podcast, the fighter decided to hit back on X (formerly Twitter).
Sean Strickland has often gotten upset about Machine Gun Kelly expressing his unconventional artistic methods on his social media channels. It seems like the former UFC middleweight champion wants to continue the tradition, as he has once again laughed at the rapper for his interesting fashion choices.
“I’m being lectured by a guy who drinks blood and carries a purse,” wrote Sean Strickland. The former UFC middleweight champion continued, “Dude you had a midlife crisis and tattooed your whole body.” Machine Gun Kelly is widely known for his eccentric blackout tattoo that spans his chest and arms.
The UFC fighter also revealed that he would rather hang out with social media trolls than Machine Gun Kelly. He then ended the post with a cheeky remark. “Go back to cutting yourself you f***ing nutcase,” Sean Strickland wrote.
These comments came after Machine Gun Kelly made comments about Sean Strickland on the Impaulsive Podcast, hosted by YouTuber and WWE star Logan Paul. The Houston native was asked for his opinion on the former UFC champion’s past remarks about him.
Kelly described his first encounter with Strickland at a Power Slap event. The rapper claimed he didn’t know who the UFC fighter was when they first met. However, when MGK heard about Tarzan’s alleged racist and homophobic nature, he decided an encounter with the former middleweight champion wasn’t worth his time.
“He’s so stupid that I’m going to tell him to stop saying that stuff because it makes me look better,” Machine Gun Kelly said. The rapper believes Sean Strickland is a “representative” of celebrities who are supposedly afraid to be themselves. He also predicted that the former middleweight champion would attack him after the interview.
“Shut up and stop talking about me. But you won’t, and I’ll keep laughing at you because you’re a f***ing moron,” Machine Gun Kelly said. It’s clear that the Houston rapper is not a fan of Sean Strickland. This tirade prompted the former middleweight champion to attack him on X (formerly Twitter).
This is by far not the first confrontation between MGK and UFC fighters. Kelly also got into a fight with Conor McGregor at the MTV Video Music AwardsThe rapper acknowledges this fact and seems to joke about the matter.
Sean Strickland, on the other hand, is currently demanding a title fight. After Dricus Du Plessis defeated Israel Adesanya, the former middleweight world champion expected a title fight. He flatly rejected a fight against Robert Whittaker, even though the latter dominated Ikram Aliskerov at UFC Abu Dhabi.
