Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The descending arms of the Bhanwarkuwan flyover, being constructed by the Indore Development Authority, will have special arrangements for students to ensure their comfort while travelling on public transport.

District Commissioner Deepak Singh, who is also the Chairman, Indore Development Authority, conducted a thorough inspection of the under-construction Bhawarkuan and Khajrana flyovers. On the occasion, IDA CEO RP Ahirwar briefed District Commissioner Singh about the progress of both the flyovers.

Singh directed the IDA officials concerned to prepare a plan to beautify the lower portion of the flyover.

He said, “Since many students live in the Bhanwarkuan area, convenient arrangements need to be made for the students in the lower part of the flyover, which includes easy access to BRTS and other public transport.”

He also spoke about the possibility of erecting sculptures related to Lord Ganesha in the lower part of the Khajrana flyover.

The Khajrana and Bhanwarkuan flyovers are about 85 and 80 percent complete respectively. One side of the Khajrana flyover is almost ready for traffic, but electrification work is yet to be completed.
