Scarlette Douglas was voted out of the show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!”

The 35-year-old presenter had taken part in ITV1’s reality survival show, but on Sunday’s (20.11.22) episode, audiences voted that she would be the second famous face to leave the Australian jungle after Loose Women presenter Charlene White was dumped, and she was seen tearfully hugging her camp mates as she said goodbye.

Following Ant and Dec’s announcement, she said: “I’m absolutely devastated. I’m not even going to lie, but I wanted to stay as long as possible. These people are incredible and the jungle is incredible!”

Reflecting on her jungle trip over a glass of champagne, the former A Place in the Sun presenter, who enjoyed a VIP experience entering the jungle alongside Boy George and later took on the role of camp cook, explained that she is a “team player” and that she wants Celebrity Gogglebox star Babatúndé Aléshé to be crowned King of the Jungle.

She said: “Apart from BG’s snoring (the VIP experience) was fantastic. I really enjoyed it and felt like I was there myself. I screamed a bit! When you don’t know what’s in there, but then I thought, ‘This is the first time you’ve tried it, you just have to pull yourself together’. There was one point where there was a spider in the camper van and I was gone, I screamed. But there was another one and I helped Mike (Tindall) get it out!”

“I’m a team player and I love to pitch in. My mum is Jamaican of course and Charlene is a Jamaican mum too. We know what we’re doing, we just say ‘stay out of my kitchen!’ It gets difficult though – especially when people can’t really cook! I miss them already. It’s so hard but Baba and I had a really sisterly bond so now he has to do it for both of us!”
