Sam Thompson wants to “rake in a million” after his victory on “I’m a Celebrity”

Sam Thompson will probably “rake in a million” after winning I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

The Made in Chelsea star was crowned King of the Jungle following his triumph on ITV’s reality show on Sunday night (10.12.23), and a new report suggests he is already being showered with mega deals, including plans for his own TV show.

An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Thanks to the jungle, Sam will easily make a million next year. There are already talks about opportunities for Sam – including his own TV series. He has also been offered a host of high-profile deals.”

The insider added: “He’s always been popular with young people thanks to his reality TV past, but now millions know and love him. Winning ‘I’m a Celebrity’ can do wonders for your career and Sam is certainly no exception.”

Sam jumped into the arms of runner-up Tony Bellew as presenters Ant and Dec announced the result of the public vote, before admitting he was “overwhelmed” by his victory.

He said: “I’m really overwhelmed. I didn’t think I would even be invited on the show. I don’t know what to say.”

When asked what he had to say to those who voted for him, he tearfully replied, “I’m so grateful, thank you so much. I’ve dreamed of being on this show for years and you made a boy’s dream come true.”

Tony wasn’t too disappointed with his second place finish as he felt his new friend more than deserved the win. He said: “10 days ago I knew. When I first met him I knew I had never met anyone like him… He deserves it more than anything and I couldn’t be happier.”

Earlier in the evening, it was announced that Nigel Farage had come third and he admitted he was “absolutely delighted” to have made it this far in the show. He said: “I’m not surprised (to be third), I’m absolutely delighted.”
