Earlier this week, a rumor emerged that The Sims spin-off MySims might be returning after listings for a Switch version of the game appeared on two European retail websites.

It seems that there are more and more clues about the game’s return. For example, EA’s official Switch website has been updated with an icon for MySims (thanks, Vooks.net). Currently, if you click on that icon, you’ll be taken to a Sims 4 page.

As if that wasn’t enough, Kotaku has also commented on this latest rumor, mentioning that “according to a source familiar with the plans,” a “remaster” of the game for the Nintendo Switch is on the way “later this year.”

“The switch port of MySims is real and coming soon, according to a source familiar with the plans. EA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.”

MySims originally released on Wii and DS in 2007, and was later ported to other devices. The original listings for this remaster suggest that it could be released around November 2024. Of course, this is all just a rumor at the moment!
