The Royal Mint has unveiled a Harry Potter coin collection that will include portraits of Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III.

The commemorative coins were issued in the UK by Bloomsbury Publishing (BMY.L) to mark the 25th anniversary of the first publication of the novel “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” by JK Rowling in 1997.

The coin producer expects high demand for the coins and added that its Harry Potter collection will be among the “small pieces” that will see a portrait change over the course of the series.

The first two coins in the collection will be released this year and will feature the portrait of Elizabeth, and the last two coins, to be released in 2023, will feature the portrait of the King.

Harry Potter is featured on the first coin in the series, which is available on the Mint’s website.

Other coins in the collection depict the Hogwarts Express, Professor Albus Dumbledore and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
