The football celebrations in Phoenix began earlier this year when Rolling Stone hosted an epic pre-game party to remember. The event, held in partnership with sports marketing talent agency Talent Resources Sports (TRS), was held at the Clayton House in Scottdale. The venue was packed to the brim with football fans, celebrity guests, music lovers and partygoers, making for a truly unforgettable evening.

The crowd got (literally) goosebumps when Travis Scott headlined the exclusive episode of Rolling Stones Live, brought an unparalleled punk rock energy to the room, even going into the crowd to share an intimate moment with fans. Scott’s 2019 chart-topper, “I’m The Highest In The Room,” blared from the speakers; a debatable statement considering that guests at the event received complimentary Crown Royal cocktails and herbal treats from Hemper and Jardín. Still, the crowd was excited to see Scott bouncing around the stage in silhouette.

At the Vivid Seats lounge, fire pits, cozy couches, and free Vivid-rita tequila cocktails kept the crowd comfortable in the cold desert night. At the bar, mysterious hands in fancy white gloves emerged from a branded green wall and handed out free sparkling wine and thousands of dollars worth of gift certificates valid for Vivid Seats event tickets. The scene attracted a number of curious customers, even musician and YouTube superstar Nezza, who hung out in front of the wall and recorded content, winning herself a free Vivid Seats gift certificate.

Nezza was not the only Bay Area legend who Rolling Stones Live with her presence on Friday night. G-Eazy also took the stage for a surprise collaboration with DJ Whoo Kid. “I just made this song two days ago in Paris,” G-Eazy confessed as he unveiled his latest unreleased masterpiece. The new song, which already seems to have innate viral potential, samples Suzanne Vega’s 1992 song “Tom’s Diner,” which was reintroduced to the world by TikTok nearly 30 years after its release.

But music wasn’t the only focus of the evening. Rivalries simmered in the crowd between jersey-clad superfans of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, fueled by the on-stage antics of DJ Irie and DJ Whoo Kid. A familiar face from the football scene also took the stage: professional football champion Will Gholston of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers appeared to toast the American Cancer Society, the official nonprofit sponsor of the event.

A silent auction also lined the walls of the event, showcasing a variety of eclectic items, from signed football helmets to rare signed records from music superstars like Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones. For the fashion-conscious, Aviator Nation collaborated with Rolling Stone on a bespoke capsule merch collection, complete with hoodies, t-shirts, hats and sweatpants. Throughout the party, fans could be seen wearing the limited-edition collection, hydrating with BODYARMOR SportWater and dancing to the incredible musical performances.

At the venue, they hung out backstage in the Ace of Spades VIP lounge, sipping gold Armand De Brignac Cuvée supplied by Diageo. Self-proclaimed “Food God” Jonathan Cheban of Keeping up with the Kardashians Fame danced from the VIP area railing and even hit “Dougie” at one point during DJ Irie’s set, making for a truly unforgettable night of sights and sounds in the lead-up to the biggest sporting event of the year.
